The Georgian Ministry of Sports announced on Wednesday that 28 athletes will represent Georgia at the upcoming Summer Olympics in Paris, which will be held from July 26 to August 11.
Sport shooter Nino Salukvadze is set to make history as the first female athlete to compete in 10 Olympic Games.
The Georgian team will also feature freestyle wrestlers Goderdzi Dzebisashvili, Vladimir Gamkrelidze, Givi Matcharashvili, and Geno Petriashvili, as well as Greco-Roman wrestlers Ramaz Zoidze, Lasha Gobadze, and Robert Kobliashvili.
Additionally, fencer Sandro Bazadze and trampoline jumper Luba Golovina will participate in the Olympics.
