The Radisson Blu Iveria Tbilisi and Republic has announced a shift in its leadership as Ilia Saganelidze takes up the mantle as the new General Manager. Saganelidze, an industry veteran, brings over two decades of extensive experience in the hotel and restaurant business to the acclaimed multifunctional center and hotel.

Saganelidze joined the Silk Road Group in 2009 and has had an illustrious career in the hospitality industry. For the past two years, he served as the General Manager of Radisson Blu Batumi, following a successful tenure as the General Manager of Park Hotel Tsinandali.

Attributing his success to the Silk Road Group, Saganelidze said, “Silk Road Group made a significant contribution to my successful career. It consistently fostered my professional growth, presented me with new opportunities and challenges, and most importantly, valued my hard work and determination. I share this approach with my team members, offering them the opportunity to fully explore their potential.”

Radisson Blu Iveria, a major symbol of Tbilisi, represents an honor and a responsibility for Saganelidze. The hotel has garnered numerous prestigious international awards and recognition, enhancing the country’s global standing in the hospitality sector.

“The Republic makes a unique contribution to the development of the square, with its top-tier restaurants, a bespoke menu, and high-level events. I am confident that this synergy will elevate Tbilisi’s appeal to travelers,” Saganelidze commented.

The Radisson Blu Iveria, located in the heart of the capital, is a five-story architectural marvel of Tbilisi. It boasts 249 guest rooms, three gourmet restaurants, and a luxury spa center, under the management of “Silk Hospitality”.

Today, Silk Hospitality manages a vast portfolio of around 20 hospitality establishments. It encompasses a variety of international and local brands in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Kakheti, including four hotels. With its unwavering commitment to high-quality service and unique experiences, Silk Hospitality continues to shape the hospitality landscape in Georgia.

With the appointment of Saganelidze, Radisson Blu Iveria Tbilisi and the Republic look set to further solidify their positions as leaders in the hospitality industry.
