Guns N’ Roses, the iconic American hard rock group formed in Los Angeles four decades ago, is set to perform at the Tsitsinatela amusement park in Shekvetili on May 30. The concert is part of Starring Georgia, an event series dedicated to promoting the country’s tourism potential and highlighting Georgia’s place on the global entertainment map.
According to the Black Sea Arena—the local venue behind the series—the band’s enduring blend of classic rock with a metal flair and their energetic live shows have kept them firmly on rock music’s Olympus for nearly 40 years. Having sold tens of millions of albums worldwide and played in some of the globe’s most prestigious stadiums and concert halls, Guns N’ Roses continue to be a force in rock culture, with Georgia soon to experience their legacy firsthand. “And this is just the beginning of big news,” the organizers teased.
The venue also noted that the Starring Georgia series has the support of the Georgian Government, helping bring major international acts to the country. This approach both enriches Georgia’s domestic entertainment offerings and gives young audiences a chance to see their favorite musicians at home. Tickets for the show will be available starting next week.
