Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen, will host Georgian Culture Days from September 24 to October 3, according to the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Sport.
The event will feature a diverse range of cultural activities, including a puppet performance of William Shakespeare’s “Othello” by Tbilisi’s Nodar Dumbadze State Youth Theatre. Additionally, three Georgian films will be showcased by the Georgian National Film Centre in collaboration with the Danish Film Institute Cinematheque.
The programme will also include performances by the Georgian State Folk Ensemble Basiani and the Kutaisi Song and Dance State Academic Ensemble. A special presentation of Georgian calligraphy art by renowned artist Giorgi Sisauri will further highlight the event.
The Georgian Culture Days in Copenhagen are organized by the Georgian Ministry of Culture and Foreign Affairs, with the support of the Georgian Embassy in Denmark.
