Backed by the support of TBC Startuper, the emerging landscaping venture known as “Santi” is on a mission to transform urban spaces in Georgia through meticulously crafted green areas. Despite its relatively short time in operation, this startup has swiftly gained momentum by successfully executing various projects that have captured the public’s attention.

The brainchild of Santi’s founder, Gigi Tabaghua, traces its origins back to his time as an exchange student in Copenhagen. “The inspiration for Santi took root in Copenhagen, a city celebrated for its well-designed and thoughtful green spaces. As someone deeply interested in landscaping, the Danish model deeply resonated with me, inspiring me to contemplate how I could replicate such sustainable urban environments in Georgia,” he reflects.

Tabaghua, who already possessed a wealth of startup experience, wasted no time in turning his vision into a tangible business venture. “Initially, my co-founders and I personally approached homeowners in Rustavi with our landscaping proposals. Admittedly, it was a tough sell due to a general lack of awareness about the value of well-designed green spaces. However, as we started to accumulate satisfied clients, word-of-mouth referrals propelled us forward,” says Tabaghua.

To formalize and expand their operations, Santi forged a partnership with TBC Startuper, a trusted business incubator for the founders. “Their financial and logistical support was pivotal. They provided us with cutting-edge equipment and facilitated the development of our official website, which is nearing completion. We are also in the process of strengthening our online presence through social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram,” Tabaghua informs.

Presently, Santi offers a comprehensive range of landscaping services, encompassing planning, development, maintenance, and cleaning for individual homeowners, construction companies, and other institutional clients. “Although we initially launched in Rustavi, our accumulated expertise and resources now position us to expand our services to other cities in Georgia,” notes Tabaghua.
